January Atlanta Men’s Group – Exploring Anger
January 28 @ 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm EST
Fishing the Good Fight’s Atlanta Men’s Group is a monthly, in-person group led by licensed therapist Logan Kafer, designed to give men a steady place to slow down, be real, and work on what’s actually going on beneath the surface.
Each month centers on a specific theme, blending open conversation, reflection, and traditional group therapy practices—all in a setting that feels human, grounded, and approachable. You don’t need therapy experience, and you don’t need to have everything figured out. Just a willingness to show up honestly.
First Topic: Anger as a Secondary Emotion. Anger often shows up loud and fast—but it’s rarely the whole story. In this first session, we’ll explore how anger can be a protective response to other emotions like fear, hurt, shame, or grief. Together, we’ll look at:
What anger might be trying to protect
How it shows up in our bodies and relationships
Healthier ways to notice and respond to what’s underneath it
This group is for men who want practical tools, real connection, and a place to talk about life without pressure to perform or fix everything. Whether you’re new to this kind of space or have been in groups before, you’re welcome here.
Location TBD – we’ll announce it to all those who register.
Come as you are. Leave a little more connected—to yourself and to others.
